DO WE PRAY?

 “I have no time.”
How true it is that we have time for everything but prayer. All too often, we allow the things we enjoy (television, newspapers, chats, internet, recreation, and all kinds of worldly things) to interfere with our communion with God.
We are quick to stifle the Holy Spirit’s prompting. We say, “As soon as I can find time, I will seek the Lord.” Such thoughts reveal our true values. Our real problem lies in our priorities more than in the time available to us. There is enough time in each day for everything that is in the will of God. If we have no time for prayer, we need to re-order our priorities.
