MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 66:19

Today memory verse is Psalm 66:19

But verily (Truly) God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

Psalm 66:19 shows that the Psalmist understood the reality of sin that have affected their relationship with God. Sin is a terrible slave master that put us into bondage and controls our lives but with our repentance God will hear our prayers. This verse start with the word BUT that gives hope of returning back to God and the word verily means truly, God heard and attended to their prayers when they confess their sins to Him.

We can pray with confident and our relationship with God is restored. He is the God of mercy and slows to anger but of great patience in waiting for His children to come to Him in humility and prayer. We must learn to pray in faith claiming on His promises. Even if God said No it is also an answer to prayer. Trust Him as He is greater and wiser than us.
