Only One Life! (Hebrews 9:27)

Consider Your Life
There are many events of history which we did not witness, eg: the Japanese Occupation, when Singapore gained independence, etc. Our lives begin at a particular point in time when we were born, as created by God. We must be thankful for being alive, but we must also remember that we will die one day. Let us not live as if we will never die.

Consider How Some People Die

Some die because of sickness, accident, natural calamities or even through crimes. How will you leave this world? Peacefully? Do you have time to “prepare” for your death?

Consider What Happens After You Die

Different religions have different teachings regarding life after death. God’s Word tells us that sinners must face judgment of eternal death in hell. By then there is no more opportunity to escape that place. Christ, our Saviour, became man and died on the Cross to take away the punishment of sin. His glorious resurrection gave Him the power to save anyone who believes in Him. Christians, being saved from eternal condemnation, will live eternally in Heaven with Christ.

Consider the Source of this message, the Bible

The Bible tells us the truth about life after death. Does what the Bible say represent your experience? Are you a sinner? Will you face judgment after you die? Do you want to live forever?

You will regret doubly if you choose to reject this message of salvation, because you will realize after you die that it is the truth. By then, you will not only suffer the physical sufferings of hell but also the mental anguish of not believing when you had the opportunity to.

You must make a choice to believe the Bible, and to do so by faith. Only by faith can you be saved.

If you are already a Christian, remember to obey God’s Word and live a life of thanksgiving each day
