God Detests Homosexuality, Sexual Immorality and Incest

The conscience of the people today is not as good and sensitive as it was 60 years ago when homosexuality was regarded as abomination. Nowadays the homosexual publicly and proudly admit that they are homosexual without any shame, and they even defend homosexual marriages and ordain homosexual ministers! What an abomination before God! God’s Word confirms that He detests homosexuality, sexual immorality and incest, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” (Lev 20:13), and “And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter” (Ezek 22:11). To be not an abomination to God, you and I must also detest homosexuality, immorality and incest.

God Detests Injustice, Falsehood, Dishonesty, Deception and Lies

God’s holy Word clearly declares, “They that are of a froward (perverse, crooked, deceitful) heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight” (Prov 11:20; cf. 3:32). “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: …a lying tongue…A false witness that speaketh lies” (Prov 6:16-18), and “Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight” (Prov 12:22), and “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight” (Prov 11:1), and “Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD” (Prov 20:10, 23), and “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD” (Prov 17:15). Many are living a double life with their double talk and double standards or measures, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar” (Rom 3:4). They do not really mean what they say nor say what they mean. Then, to be not an abomination to God, you and I must detest and keep ourselves from lies, deception, falsehood and injustice.

God Detests Those Who Deny Him, Despise Him, Disobey Him and Ignore His Word

There are many “wise” and  “scholarly” people in this world arrogantly deny God and follow evolutionary theory, many others arrogantly question and criticize God’s Word, and many others are keen to hear human quotations and stories but shutting their ears to God’s Word and God’s Truth! However, in God’s sight, they are just foolish and abominable, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good” (Ps 14:1; 53:1), and “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate” (Titus 1:16), and “Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evil favouredness: for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God” (Deut 17:1), and “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination” (Prov 28:9). To be not an abomination to God, you and I must truly honour God and His Word with an obedient and submissive heart
