Scripture Text: Rev 12: 1-17
1. In Rev 12, we see the world today being controlled by Satan. He is called the Prince of this world and will want the whole world to follow him to hell.
2. From Satan’s perspective, the world is a battleground. He wanted to stop God’s plan in the 1st coming of Jesus to this world to save sinners.
3. Satan is also engaged in war in heaven. He wanted to retard God’s plan in the spiritual realm too. Satan is called the adversary and he is also a slanderer.
4. As believers, we must hold on to our faith in Jesus Christ despite the temptations of Satan which is either persecutions or enticements of this world.
5. Satan knows he has a short time left and works very hard to draw more people to hell. To have victory in Christ, we must live by faith in the Word of God.
